Quarrels and scandal spread through the assembly, and no one will name them aloud. Corinth rewards ambition and punishes weakness, and the church has caught the sickness of the city.
Chloe could keep the peace by saying nothing. Instead, she sends word to Paul, and the letters that come back cut deeply, including into her own heart.
